Tate is 9 months old!

Little Tate is now 10 months old! I can't beleive that his first birthday is just around the corner. Seems like just yesterday he was so tiny that most everyone was afraid to hold him. Now he is finally putting on some weight and has turned into quite a LIVELY little guy. His nickname around the house is "kickin' chicken". His little arms and legs never stop! He is doing the army crawl, but hasn't mastered really crawling yet. He loves to stand and jump, so I feel sure that walking is not too far in our future. He has learned to say MaMa, Dadee, Nanana, Bye Bye as he waves to you. At his last Dr. visit he weighed a little over 18 pounds. So our tiny little fellow seems to be catching up. If only we could get him to sleep all night on a regular basis. About 6 hours a night is all he seems to need! This is little Tate-man at 9 months. I am little behind in posting!

More Tee Ball

Our Little Slugger! Tucker Rogers #10 - Braves!

Tee Ball

We just ended our 2nd season of Tee Ball. Tucker really loved playing this year and showed vast improvement over his 1st season. Much to our surprise, by the end of the season he had grown quite fond of "scooping up" balls in the outfield. During the last game, he was so excited that he got 5 balls! Isn't he precious!! Bouncing Boy

The bounce house and slide arrived around 9:30 that morning.

He bounced and bounced and bounced some more! By the end of the day, he was exhausted! But if was fun to watch him have such a good time.

Tucker loves some Footbal!

This is the first year that Tucker has invited his friends from "school". They had so much fun. He was super excited that Tray and Nicholas were able to come. They have their own version of fantasy football!! The cake icing was blue and green, so it was no secret who ate a piece! Check out Tucker's face...

Tucker turns 4!

Tucker had his 4th Birthday on March 21st. I cannot believe that he is such a big boy! Doesn't he look grown up! It is tradition that on his birthday, we have pictures made. But this year, I thought instead of taking him to a studio, that I would try my luck at taking his pics myself. I was pretty pleased with the results!

Snow Babies

Look at these adorable little snow babies. I know that I am a little biased, but they are just too darn cute! This was taken when we got our first and ONLY snow of the year.

2009

2008 was a record year for the Rogers family and we were glad to see it come to an end! We moved several times while waiting for our house to be finished. We also found ourselves in the midst of two legal battles that were quite ominous and really tough on our spirits. We fell victim to theft, when Shan's prized motorcycle was stolen. And lastly we welcomed a fiesty 4 pound 10 ounce baby boy to our lives. The craziness of 2008 is definitely one for the history books in our household. But as stressful and tense as the year turned out, we were also blessed immensely!

We moved into our "Dream House" in May of 2008. It is still sometimes surprising to me that we actually live in such a beautiful home and that I am now "Mommy" to not 1, but 2 AMAZING little boys! On July 19, 2008 we welcomed our 2nd little bundle of joy - Colby Tate Rogers. He came to us a TINY 4 pounds, 10 ounces. We were a little surprised by the news that Tucker was going to be a big brother, but Tate has made our family complete!

So we are looking forward to a Calmer 2009! Hopefully with less stress and more time to enjoy our new home and family! Happy New Year and God Bless!

Tate's First Christmas

As expected, Nana and Boppa made Tate's first Christmas quite memorable. It seems to be tradition now, that new grandbabies in the Tucker family get a wagon for their first Christmas. Though Tate is barely big enough to sit in his, he is the proud owner of a new John Deere wagon!!

Santa Baby

Isn't this the cutest Santa you have ever seen??? Colby Tate had a wonderful first Christmas. He is 5 months old now and finally starting to sleep through the night. Poor little guy has battled several colds and tummy issues. But he is finally starting to "come into his own". Leagh and Shelbe gave him this Santa suit for his first Christmas and it was too cute to resist!!

Santa's Goodies

Tucker asked for two things for Christmas - a Gator and a Shaving Kit. He was quite concerned about the size of that Gator and wondered often how Santa was going to have room for it on his sleigh. He ran to the front door on Christmas morning in hopes of discovering his much anticipated Gator. He was sadly disappointed when he realized there were no gifts on the porch waiting for him. But his spirits rose quickly when he discovered that Santa had actually left his prizes inside, by the Christmas tree!!

Christmas 2008

Oh how hard it is to get both boys looking at the camera!! This shot is one of about 100 that I took in an effort to get the "perfect" shot. Hope you like it!! Tate is 5 months in this picture and Tucker is 3. This is our first Christmas in our new house and we really enjoyed it! As you can tell Tate is a Happy boy and Tucker enjoys being a Big Brother!
